How much antigen is needed to immunize two rabbits?

The total amount of antigen needed depends upon the duration of the project.

For most projects, 2 mg of conjugate (protein or conjugated peptides) should be sufficient. A concentration of 0.5 – 1.0 mg/ml would be preferred. If ELISA needs to be done by Eton, 1 mg of unconjugated peptide is needed to complete the testing.
